Well I am thinking about doing this internship, but its been hard making the decision, because when I weigh the pro's and con's, its seems that the con's win out. Maybe somebody can tell me what they think. Its a paid internship, which is $3000 for 10 weeks. Its a pay cut of what I make hourly but I don't work full time, so I would actually get more money during the summer. But the thing is that it will soak up my summer. This is my first summer off in 2 years, the last two summers I went to summer quarter. I kind of wanted a lazy summer so I can have time to go to the beach and stuff. Now it looks like I won't have time for that. I have to write this paper about why I would be a good candidate for this internship, I really hate writing these little essays praising myself and everything. So anyway it looks like that is what I will end up doing this summer. This internship is at the place I am working at already so it seems like i am pretty much going to get it if I apply. Maybe next summer I wil get a chance to relax. That will be the last summer before I start grad school...
