Mimulus shevockii in bloom
Tuesday, April 1, 2008
Mimulus shevockii is now in bloom. This is a photo from my last visit to Kelso Valley. I expect the species will be in peak bloom in about a week or so. I plan to do another round of surveys April 5th. I will do more pollinator observations, and will census as many populations as possible in days work. Hopefully the weather stays cool and will prolong the season. I would hate to miss out on collecting seeds this year!

First field day
Thursday, March 6, 2008
I have made a slight modification for my first field date, I expect that I will be out March 17-18. If plants are in bloom, I hope to census at least 4 populations and also spend some time observing pollinators. Please e-mail me if you are interesting in this field trip. Thanks!

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to the Mimulus shevockii research website. I created this site to keep in touch with everyone helping me with my research project. I have posted a calender with tentative survey dates, but these may change depending on the weather. If you are interested in any of the dates that I already posted please let me know via e-mail. I hope to keep this site fairly up to date with my recent findings on this rare species. I am looking forward to this field season, and I want to thank all of you who have volunteered to help!
